Acting Classes
1st and 2nd Grades
AGES SIX THROUGH EIGHT
Acting classes for 1st and 2nd grade are held on Saturdays
from 9:30am-10:00am.
Tuition: $115 per 10-week semester
Acting Classes are offered 3 semesters per year, on Saturdays.
Fall 2023: Saturday, September 16th - Saturday, November
18th, 2023
Winter 2024: Saturday, January 13th - Saturday, March 16th,
2024
Spring 2024: Saturday, April 13th - Saturday, June 15th 2024

participate in a performance at the end

We teach various methods - Stanislavski (Method
Acting), Meisner, Uta Hagen, Strasberg, and more!
How qualified are your acting
instructors?
Our acting instructors all hold degrees
in acting and/or a closely related field.
Our instructors are accomplished
stage actors, film actors, and
directors. Our instructors bring over 50
years of combined professional
performance and teaching experience
to your classes.
What will I learn from acting classes
at Strand?
Students will learn basic acting skills for
beginners. The emphasis will be on stage
direction, elements of story, stage presence, and
movement. Students will build confidence and
develop the ability to speak and present in large
and small groups. The class culminates in a short
play performed in person or online for family and
friends.

Team-Work - Listening and Responding - Reading
