Acting Classes
3rd - 5th Grades
AGES EIGHT THROUGH ELEVEN
Acting classes for 3rd - 5th grade are held on Saturdays
from 10:00am - 11:00am.
Tuition: $210 per 10-week semester
Acting Classes are offered 3 semesters per year, on Saturdays.

Winter 2025: Saturday, January 11th - Saturday, March 15th,

We teach various methods - Stanislavski (Method
Acting), Meisner, Uta Hagen, Strasberg, and more!

instructors?
Our acting instructors all hold degrees
in acting and/or a closely related field.
Our instructors are accomplished stage
actors, film actors, and directors. Our
instructors bring over 50 years of
combined professional performance
and teaching experience to your
classes.
What will I learn from acting classes at Strand?
Students will learn basic acting skills for
beginners. The emphasis will be on stage
direction, elements of story, stage presence, and
movement. Students will build confidence and
develop the ability to speak and present in large
and small groups. The class culminates in a short
play performed in person or online for family and
friends.

- Scene Study - Monologues - Interpretation - Improv -
Diction - Memorization Skills - Acting Terminology -
