All AGES, 18 +
Acting classes for adults are held on Saturdays from 11:00am -
12:00pm.
Tuition: $210 per 10-week semester
Acting Classes are offered 3 semesters per year, on Saturdays.
Fall 2023: Saturday, September 16th - Saturday, November
18th, 2023
Winter 2024: Saturday, January 13th - Saturday, March 16th,
2024
Spring 2024: Saturday, April 13th - Saturday, June 15th 2024

friendly, and get to know each student on
a personal level. We keep class sized
limited to ensure each student receives
individualized attention, even in a group
setting. All students participate in a
performance at the end of each semester.

What acting methods do you teach?
We teach various methods - Stanislavski (Method
Acting), Meisner, Uta Hagen, Strasberg, and more!
How qualified are your acting
instructors?
Our acting instructors all hold degrees
in acting and/or a closely related field.
Our instructors are accomplished stage
actors, film actors, and directors. Our
instructors bring over 50 years of
combined professional performance
and teaching experience to your
classes.
What will I learn from acting classes at Strand?
Students will learn stage directions, spatial awareness,
group exercises, improvisations, monologues and scene
studies. It is designed to develop their acting potential
and sharpen their skills in interpreting scripts. The class
culminates in the performance of monologue and one or
more short scenes performed in person or online for
family and friends. Previous study is not required.
